to add to list
Nene
Kenneth Faried
Jeremy Lin - not a natural fit for our hollafame but it’s fun to remember him!

zaza is eligible (for me to poop on)

if anyone is considering a vote for zaza please note ilh’s official position on hoisting (pro) and zaza’s career 3pfg% (0) - yes he went 0 for 31 in a 16-year career. different times but that’s egregious

I guess I just think of him primarily from the linsanity era, when he was more like a lead dog who burned bright but briefly. I like our role players to be role players

Lavator Shemmelpennick, Monday, 8 July 2024 23:00 (six days ago) link

role player is a very expansive designation in our hall

dont think i will need to, the 'fuck derek fisher' movement was totally organic and hes been out of the hall just on generally agreed principle

more difficult than I look (Aimless), Tuesday, 9 July 2024 01:44 (five days ago) link

he will be eligible next year! (no all-star and no all-nba selections)

polyamerie "it's more than this 1 thing" (m bison), Tuesday, 9 July 2024 01:59 (five days ago) link

Tree Rollins! I’m old enough to remember when he played for Clemson. Should be in the all time great name HOF

that's not my post, Tuesday, 9 July 2024 08:11 (five days ago) link

someone i would like to nominate and campaign for, inexplicably left off our ballot to this point, is Doug Christie. Mike Bibby is already in our illustrious institution but you can never have too many early 2000s Kings. Doug is also a key name in the rise of the 3+D archetype imo, he was doing it when Shane Battier and Raja Bell were still riding the school bus. and finally what was known of his personal life in his day was bizarre enough that it should bolster his case as a one of a kind nba character. lest we forget (gift link)

Lavator Shemmelpennick, Tuesday, 9 July 2024 11:13 (five days ago) link

great nom

symsymsym, Tuesday, 9 July 2024 14:38 (five days ago) link

With few exceptions, Doug Christie does not look at other women, avoiding dialogue or even eye contact. ''Every conversation I've ever had with a woman since we've been married besides my wife she knows about,'' he said. ''She's been there. But what are we talking about? Banking? Mortgage? Other than that, I don't have anything to say to anybody. It's taking up my time and my time is limited to basketball and my family.''

The Christies, who have been married for eight years and have three children, get married on July 8 each year, their anniversary. It is not a mere renewal of their wedding vows, but an actual wedding -- replete with friends, family, cake and a reception.

symsymsym, Tuesday, 9 July 2024 14:38 (five days ago) link

When Christie played for the Raptors, his wife once confronted a female fan seeking an autograph and a kiss in Toronto. ''A security guard grabbed her, but I put my hand up and told her to back off really loud,'' she said. ''It scared me, because my voice sounded like a demon. It just came out. She was a pretty girl, very young. But she was touching someone she shouldn't have been.''
