suns-wolves would be fascinating on the one hand the wolves have some good individual wing defenders on the other this is the exact type of team that has been rudy kryptonite in the playoffs

i’m still appalled by the cavs throwing that game yesterday to get the 4 seed. this cavs reporter all but confirms they only cared about their first round match up regardless of whether they have any path to the conference finals (lol @ “not ideal” here)

If we're being honest, #Cavs having to play Boston in Round 2 - if they get there - is not ideal. But a theoretical Round 1 matchup (if Chicago lead held over NY) with either Miami or Philly would've been even worse for them because it likely would've been 2 straight 1-and-dones

the stakes of this heat-sixers game are a bit too heavy to be hitting before the playoffs even start like i sorta feel like i was excited to go to a party and do drugs but then someone offered me crack while i’m still in the driveway. like i still need to ease my way in to this level of emotional turmoil, at least give me 6 games to get prepared for it

I've had zero expectations so I've been pretty serene all year. Until Embiid got hurt, I was enjoying this season more than any Sixers season in the Process era. I'm playing with house money, but I know that's going to go out the window if it's close in the 4th quarter.

if you line up these two teams w/o giannis you can say that halli is better than lillard, siakam is better than middleton, turner is better than lopez, and the pacers have a better supporting cast. at worst it would be hard to say there’s a huge gap between any of those

i see the league hasn't scheduled any games beyond this weekend yet but the beginning of the first round is the part of the playoffs that drags out the longest so maybe the bucks can just get it to 1-1 going into indiana w/ giannis coming back. looking back at last year for instance there were 6 day between games 1 and 3 of the bucks-heat series

Game 1 is still six days away and Giannis is a freak of nature so who knows. But it’s still probably a good idea to scheme up what a Dame-led version of this team might look like

+ him being back and him being the giannis we know are not the same things
