Buddy is who we thought he was. Always been this way. 2-4 week heaters followed by 2-4 weeks of borderline unplayability.

haha yeah. the lines between a bench guy, a rotation guy, a starter and a star are always drawn by consistency.

Rotations are about 3 seconds too late on every possession and the suns are hitting every open three

Whelp, I guess the first 15 games was a fever dream. They haven't been able to keep up the defense and the shooting. Alas.

But a few of these losses of late have come from teams unsustainably hitting shots. Not sure if that's bad luck or bad defense, probably a bit of both.

dubs had the best 3pt% defense in the league as of a few days ago, which is pure luck

podz is really bad and probably needs to be sat for a while or even get some g league reps to build his confidence back up.

kuminga starting over draymond is to build his value up for a trade.

i think i like the schroeder pickup, they just need dudes that can get a bucket and play hard on d but i do worry kerr is going to do some 3 guard nonsense like hes been known to do.

just felt like steph aside there was no one the heat really needed to worry about. schroeder was the only other guy who you had to worry about doing anything off the dribble and he was bad tonight. it highlights how much they need kuminga to be consistent night to night on offense, but that doesn't seem like a thing that will happen

He was just starting to lock into a solid role with more consistency but the ankle injury is gonna keep him out 3-4 weeks, horrible timing.

Dray left with a calf injury and never came back, limping hard on the sidelines. Steph rolled his ankle at the end of the game :(

Jimmy Butler has taken 28 free throws in 2 games with Golden State, the most in a 2-game span by a Warrior since Kevin Durant in 2018.

Yeah he's been a game changer so far. Definitely promising but I'm being very cautiously optimistic. It seems this trade has jolted life back into Steph, who had his 4th 30 point game in a row for the first time in 4 years

its pretty awesome cos it doesnt even seem like theyve figured anything out really, just kinda freelancing and reacting, not even being very assertive yet as he tries to fit in. he gets a lot of buckets and opens up a lot of stuff by just sealing dudes off in the paint. hes everything they needed, tough and secure with ball, not caring about threes and just trying to get the best shot, a connector and release valve.

im really hoping he can teach kuminga some of his game as thats the exact player he should be shaping his after.

That's a great point - we'll see, Kuminga at times seems to have a tank commander mindset though, someone who wants a bag and minutes and the rest is background music (a la Poole). Would love to see him improve his ball handling and finish at the rim better.

this is his last chance or he's getting shipped out this summer in a sign n trade imo

Over the last month (since 1/22), Quinten Post is 26-of-58 from 3-point range.

Only 5 other NBA bigs have made more 3s over that span. None have shot a better percentage.

The only other big with 20+ 3s while shooting at least 42.0% from 3 over that span: Porzingis (30, 44.8%).

Loving moody as starter too. Warriors best lineups always will feature draymond at the 5 and they may have found the right mix. And once Kuminga is back he can take the place of podz, moody, or Jimmy depending on what’s going on.

Love what I'm seeing from Quinton. Really hope it's sustainable... Would be a huge addition

Quinten. He doesn't look like a rookie, let alone a 2nd rounder, but he's 24, so perhaps that's part of it.
