5-0 preseason extrapolated to the regular season is 82-0

add in the offs and we're looking at a 98-0 team my friends

all joking aside... they do look a little more interesting this year. the vibes look improved

big questions for the year

- can kuminga be a reliable 2nd option? all the chatter about how he looks in preseason is all positive. but as usual with him it will come down to his defensive/rebounding effort/focus
- what does the 2 rotation look like? i tihnk theyll start with melton to alleviate pressure off steph defensive assigments. but if hes not hitting shots from deep then i hope they give moody a real shake at big minutes there.
- what will the wiggins rollercoaster bring us this year?
- can draymond stay out of trouble? (doubt it)
- can they stay afloat if curry misses time or needs to cut his minutes/backtobacks?
- can podz be relied upon as a scoring threat? can he shake the dreaded sophomore slump?
- is the looney fitness and shooting legit?
- will they make a big splashy trade by the deadline?

yeah this team kinda has a bunch of guys and theyre not all old will be interesting to see how it plays out

there's nothing better than when you've got a bunch of guys on your team

lol that is very much the same guy trying to keep his hands together and lose the hitch

wild ride for his shooting splits. that 2021 season is such a funny blip. 36% on 4 attempts per game, then two years later 41% on 1.5 attempts pg. to last year 23% on 0.6 attempts pg.

also im actually pretty pumped to have him and melton as warriors. have loved both those guys for a while. but KA was pretty bad last season so my excitement has been dampened a bit. might be cooked.

man they looked really good game one (and preseason). nice to be able to play the blazers with no pressure in game one too. but getting a lead and not giving it up is a good sign regardless.

one problem tho... too many guys.

Utah and Portland are both a field goal away from being 1-1. Yeah they suck, but beating them by like 35+ is still pretty striking!

Dubs started 6-2 last year. Bets are off until they can sustain some success or at least a winning record. Also I'd like to see them sustain a solid home record over the next few weeks too

cautiously optimistic about this team at the moment. winning both games of a home and home b2b without curry/wig/melton against a solid/good team is pretty encouraging. down 20 last night and got back in pretty smoothly. draymond defense on zion was vintage. everyone seems comfortable in their roles minus kuminga, but maybe this will show him he can come off the bench and cook. lots of defensive versatility melton/slomo/dray/gp2/wiggins/podz/loon/tjd

That grading/ranking system is something Mike Brown implemented back when they won in 21/22. Nice to see it back and working.

If they play with this level of defensive intensity all year they'll be in every game and it will carry over well into the playoffs.

sometimes physical intimidation is key. a mean scowl from the right person goes a long way

Curious to see if stack can help keep dray in line. He survived two stephless games without getting ejected so early results are promising.

Kinda sad they have to play the Celtics nobody wants that right now

If they go 3-2 or better I'll consider that a huge sign they might be a top 6 team in the West. Expecting they go 2-3, hoping they can avoid 1-4 or worse. Looking forward to see what these guys can do!

3-0 so far. Gonna say it - these guys look like a playoff team. Celtics game was insane and was like watching a playoff matchup. Reminded me of the Suns game early in 2021-22 where they won and showed they could contend.

Depth, defense and shooting a shit ton of 3s seems to be a winning formula and they got it
