bezos is doing his best to destroy the washington post, and he's made it clear with that adventure that he doesn't care in the least about the history, traditions, brand or ethics of the entities he buys. he absolutely strikes me as an owner who'd gut the team repeatedly if he thought it would help his bottom line.

not saying i saying i trust him but the post seems like a more fraught situation with politics and whatnot, buying an innocent basketball team and refusing to pay the luxury tax would be so low down, not putting it past him but it just doesnt make much sense to me

yeah i just watched that clip and was like, "i remember this exact possession!" but there were probably a couple dozen like that

they did such a great job of exploiting the flaws of lukaball

there no reason why the guy you rely on for all your offense should be walking the ball up every time and yet

especially when the other star on the team is a nominal point guard

yup, tho past those two they dont have a ton of ball handling at least not from players who are good, def a flaw in their roster, i like their offseason moves but they didnt improve on that part, tho tbf playing kyrie luke klay together is going to be pretty rough defensively too, upgrading their shooting with klay and marshall was good considering celtics were just not guarding a most of their guys at the three pt line

one thing about the celtics-mazzullaball is theyre really disciplined about passing out of contested layups, theyve got to do it more than any other team, its an interesting innovation because layup are generally considered good but maybe not so much when theyre guarded, celtics prefer to look around for open shots
