he’s been so bad in the playoffs but if you watch the knicks now brunson is playing 1 on 4 basically the whole game trying to score, it’s not sustainable. if OG doesn’t come back they’re DOA in the first round

re the cavs i'm not sure it's that confusing

1. the one player who really makes them competitive vs great teams is trying to play thru a knee injury that is requiring PRP injections and is noticeably worse than before he was hurt

2. their hot streak, aside from being generally unsustainable and against a soft schedule, was w/ a line up that was mitchell + allen + shooters. we know from his jazz era that the recipe of mitchell, a borderline all star center and decent enough role players is essentially good to win you 50 games. so i think it was sensible to people that that configuration was working. of course the issue is that is not their actual team

bummer about randle, basically a foregone conclusion that he wouldn't come back. kinda wish he had surgery earlier, seems like he won't even be reevaluated until september now :/
