yep. I got home from work late and they were down 16 when I turned it on…not so much any more

this is honestly why I’m trying to stay calm about the overall record and the net rating or whatever. there’s no team out there that can match up with denver’s best 5 (celtics possibly) and in the playoffs they’re just gonna play the good dudes 40 minutes and it shouldn’t matter how bad the bench is. same as it’s always been. but they’ve got to stay healthy

i still like them out of the west but will be interesting to see if they can just rampage through like last year or its more difficult, feel like the other west teams are better this year and the nugs are a lil weaker

youd like to see them put a lil run together to close the season get rolling

Last season they arrived at the Finals with about the minimum possible playoff games in all their series but Jokic was still exhausted when they won the championship. The Nuggs lean on him hard all season, too. It won't be as easy for them to put together a series of sweeps this time around and then they'll run into the Celtics.

team that could give them trouble is okc cause drivey guards like shai tend to defeat their defense, kinda think okc is too young to beat the champs but they could give them a tough series, id like them better if they had a single center within 50lbs of jokic

other teams in the west wouldnt scare me too much if i were the nugs, i dont believe in the wolves but theyre an interesting matchup cause guarding jokic gives gobert something to do

this was true in the early-mid jokic days but at least by the eye test isn’t the case any more. thunder would sure have a good fighting chance, but the wolves are actually the young upstart that I think would really test the team is the wolves. I think if you can match denver’s size and still do enough else on both ends you’re in the game. longer term I think the thunder are next in line though

if you can shoot 80% on jumpers over a two game stretch you also have a fighters chance against denver

the 4 games durant and booker didn’t both shoot 80% the nuggets won an average of like 16

my is point is the nuggets have trouble with attacking guards, as evidenced by booker killing them at the rim in that series despite not even being a guy who gets to the cup that much

the underlying problem is they just dont have much rim protection

carlisle might know a thing or two about how to beat luka. the pacers attacked luka every chance they could in the first half, by the third q he was gassed and bouncing it off the front of the rim and he did just very little in the fourth.

Pacers look scary when Turner plays that aggressively on offense and can pick up FTs like that. He's a black hole if he's trying to work and create on his own out of the post, but if he's defended by a big who can't stick with him, he can do a really good job exploiting.

Not sure if they even showed it on the Mavs TV feed, but Luka was wincing after that Hali handshake for multiple possessions – surprised there wasn't more chatter about it afterward. Luka seemed to be in good spirits during game, feel like it's been a while since I saw him look happy out there.
