the thunder aren’t playing with the same intensity as dallas but this game is exposing that they don’t really have a stopper on defense. they’ve had zero answers for either luka or kyrie — shai, j dub you name it all getting roasted in isos and in PNR

i do think they shouldve tried to add a strong big man tho, good type of guy to have around

seems like adding hayward is an indication that theyre serious about contending this year, but not adding a big man is an indication that theyre not, saw speculation that theyre going to resign hayward to a bruce brown type deal ie one thats designed to match salaries in a big trade but has no long term risk so maybe thats why they got him idk

i agree i’m not sure i understand it. love has been pretty good this year but he hit a ceiling in the ECF last year where he was basically unplayable & they have no other real bigs bam aside

there were three major players moved in the east — siakam, OG and rozier. the heat paid the littlest price but also got the worst player, relatively speaking, and the smallest player. terry has been good and they did need a PG but i would’ve liked to see them be more competitive for those other two guys
