fun time to be a knicks fan. idk if they can keep it rolling without og and randle (and their absence might deter them from making a midseason trade - still think they could use some offensive juice of the bench), and idk if they would have beaten indiana last night without hali's minutes restrictions, but still. brunson is special, just an incredible player to root for (and the best knicks point guard in what, 50 years?)

they were debating on hoop collective pod the other day whether brunson is the best knick since ewing aka is he a better player than melo. bontempts argued that melo was a top 3 MVP finisher (did this happen with the knicks?) and thus was better than brunson but man idk it feels different

i still think they don’t have enough shooting + thibs playoff history is what it is but with their defense and home court they *should* be able to win a first round series again this year. unless they get the heat but let’s see how it shakes out

yeah melo finished 3rd in mvp voting in that 2012-13 season

melos a funny guy to judge hes top ten alltime scoring got mvp votes was a superduper star, and yet just a very unsatisfying player, no defense alltime ball stopper just did the same shit over and over
