weird city in general ive been there a couple times and it made no real impression on me as someone who usually gets excited about checking out other cities. something fake feeling about it

as far as cities with salt lakes go, it's up there on the list

maybe i just didnt find it but it didnt seem to have any like old town or cultural center just a lot of big modern buildings with modern commercial space it felt like a city that was built from scratch 40 years ago to house a basketball team

bizarre. don't see how being rude to him for a year until he wants to be traded is better than trading him against his wishes. the latter is at least understood as part of the business

its cause hes been saying he wont sign an extension with his new team if hes traded, which decreases his trade value, if you can make him want to be traded then maybe hell be willing to sign an extension

im assuming its cause he wants the super max contract that only toronto can offer, but maybe his kids like their school or something idk

its a game of chicken cause if he becomes a free agent he will make less than if he resigns with a team that trades for him

tho his issue could also be with the fact that signing an extension would be a shorter contract, but now its too late to sign one anyway so maybe hell be more amenable to resigning with the team hes traded to in the offseason cause thatd be a longer contract idk
