I read something about the Thunder arriving in Atlanta at 4 am this morning due to some airline issues. Started slowly and did well to get close.

the Bucks aren't worse they just have zero guidance on defense and will need to score 130 a game

yeah the perimeter d is just non existent

their plus defenders are giannis, lopez, 33 year old injured jae crowder, and... marjon beauchamp? the rest of their active roster is either a zero or much worse

ok they may need to make a trade or two

they need a roster upgrade badly but they are short on picks and movable contracts

lakers just had one of the saddest offensive possessions I’ve seen this year

with dame it was always "well if you could put a couple big rim defenders around him it would cover up most of his problems" but the thing is that no it won't at all esp if your wings are all dames

i liked hood schifino coming out he reminded me of josh hart, i know hollinger was one who didn't even have a first round grade on him. given where the lakers are and the guys picked after him that pick def warrants a lot of scrutiny. i'm not a huge brandon podz fan but he would be playing huge minutes for the lakers

i think he, um... fits an archetype of player who people get really excited about when they prove that they belong on an NBA floor... but then sometimes such players find a level that is below what people begin to imagine in their heads. he can do some stuff for sure tho and he's still quite young. i read hollinger say that he has the second highest rebound rate in the league among players under 6-6 after westbrook. he is def a rotation player they made a good pick for that spot but i still think he may settle in closer to 4th guard status

the problem isn't really hood schifino not being able to play, the problem is that they're in a situation where they're hoping he can play

xp i think he leads the league in charges taken and yea hes a great rebounder. kinda just does everything. rotation player is right, 4th guard is like a 15th man on the roster and he's clearly already better than that. im just excited they got a couple rookies that are playable now.

getting drafted to a lebron team has to suck

i don't agree w/ that i think the way the league works now contending teams w/ multiple maxed out veteran players will almost always have rotation spots open for late round rookies if they can play... christian braun etc so it's definitely an issue that he can't play, if he can't play
