the Lad put up 44 against the load management Mavs, though I guess Luka being out would theoretically make their D better

very kind of the celtics to give the pistons an extra 5 minutes of reps vs a good team. i think they are now ready to win their next game

next three games - Raptors, Rockets, Jazz

Brogdon would be a guy I would like to look Morey to try and get, though he is going to be a free agent and I would prefer a guy who could be there for at least two years.

yeah was thinking brogdon too, they could prob get two brogdon level guys, but resigning various opportunity costs future plans etc are complicated

theres also jerami grant which is more of a aaron gordon type move in that hes a very good if sub allstar player who makes a lot of money but could be a really nice long term piece

weird thing about their current sitch is theyre im assuming going to let harris walk so they need to replace him too

they basically have no one under contract besides embiid and paul reed next year, tho 100% chance they max maxey out, pretty dicey really

achiuwa is a nice pickup for the knicks considering their current center injury sitch

it’s a let’s swap mildly disappointing guys trade

barrett is a long time disappointment og is only a disappointment from the time when people started thinking he was gonna be an allstar but to get to that point was big success

swapping mildly disappointing guys is good praxis

og def an upgrade over rj, better fit next to randle and brunson. much more consistent overall

pascal has to be on the move next, they still have the big wing logjam

i like og on the knicks i think he fits good trade for them idk about the future tho obvs they need to resign him but its gonna take a too big contract, better than paying barrett tho, and they didnt want to pay quickley for whatever reason

sad for the raps that theyve been demanding a superstar haul for og up til the moment they traded him for a very not superstar haul, their unwillingness to make trades last year really hurt them, seems like they just dont want to tank so they went the guys over picks route, but its hard to get full value in the form of guys, they prob shouldve gone for the short tank model where you trade your guys for picks are bad for a year or two to get more picks then you trade picks for guys to get good again, tho tbf quickly does still have upside maybe they really like him
