the other funny thing is that poor oscar had scored in the in season tournament final, but they dont count as actual nba points... thus the pacers trying to get him the bucks game ball

look I will always point to a game that happened January last year vs. the Raptors, Bucks were up 16 with 75 seconds to play and the Raps tied it to force OT. ain't over till it's over. also it was a home game vs the team that knocked them out of the very prestigous in-season tournament and Giannis was approaching the franchise record, like come on everyone wanted him to stay in

It kind of an unwritten rule that both sides pull their starters when a game is 'out of reach'. Back when NBA teams were much worse at scoring points rapidly and in volume, bench players especially, that was about 15 points up with two minutes left. Now, who can say?

craziest part is i just assumed he was more or less lebron’s age — last time i saw him he was moving around out there like the league’s new haslem, he scored a basket and i was like “awww look at that!” about 5 mins later the announcer casually mentioned that tristan is **32** and i was like, oh my god
