I couldn't read that Raptors trade speculation article, but if the Hawks are offering Hunter I'm all for it. I really don't know what it is about him, he's a great defender, reliable 3 pt shooter and only cost 5 mil a year. in fact, here's his last 10:

That's pretty great for 5 a year, right? esp with the outstanding defense. i think ultimately what undoes him is that assist stat. he reminds me of John Collins in that when he gets the ball he's basically only good at creating his own offense, which isn't that compelling. he has a really nice mid range game and, while he can get to the bucket, he can't finish through contact very well. i really do want to like him more but i wouldn't be sore about losing him

are we talking about de'andre hunter? he makes a lot more than $5m per year

yeah, sorry i'm not being very coherent here. Hunter's numbers over the last 10 are pretty good for a 20 mil a year guy is i guess what i'm saying. and despite him going through a nice stretch, the hawks have lost most of those games and he hasn't really effected the game in meaningful ways

obviously there's been 8 zillion Draymond old clips floating around Twitter but I hadn't actually seen the Poole punch in a long time and that one was by far the worst thing he's done, head injuries are weird you never know what can happen, I remember this thing about a decade ago in Minnesota where this college kid rocked another kid with one punch, the other kid fell down and died he ended going to prison

It's kind of amazing that the warriors have kept him this long considering he probably cost them one championship, and I guess it could be argued he may have cost them more because surely he was one factor in Durant peacing out.
