i think the west is in a place where if they get into the real playoffs and steph is healthy and they're on the other side of the bracket from denver i'd still not rule them out of winning two series and getting back to the WCF. but the idea of them winning beyond that feels a bit preposterous at the moment

Once they move on from the triplets they'll be bad for a while, I think. Not sure they have the discipline to actually tank. SF has very little allure as a destination without Curry.

i dont think theyd ever trade steph unless he asked and i dont think hed ask but does seem like the team is headed toward a dame in portland type scenario where it doesnt make sense for him to be there but neither side can pull the trigger, except steph is older which might make it a lil more bearable for him to play out his last few years on a not great team

that 'oop at 1:40 felt like warriors basketball. they looked extremely old most of the game, portland looked so athletic compared to them.

When the Warrior management gets to feeling glum about paying Dray's salary in 2026-27 they can go off and polish their NBA championship trophies until they feel better.
