the wizards fielding one of the most embarrassing teams in recent NBA history in the season between victor wembanyama and cooper flagg is a great example of how bad franchises stay bad

No question he was one of the best players of his generation, and as a couple of you said maybe the most influential since Jordan. But hasn't it always been the case that he's been a hot mess off the court?

I grew up in Denver, it's hard for me to think of a greater example of lost potential than David Thompson, who retains hero status in Denver but is always in the conversation about "great talent, too bad about everything else."

I can see being salty that he sucked on the Nuggets but I don't think you'll find too many people who agree with you

iverson def had offcourt issue and prob couldve extended his peak longer if he had his shit more together, when he was playing the reception was more mixed but these days seems like its pretty much all gravy

hes a great defender, but this offense is an absolute wreck, and all the misses and turnovers lead to easy transition looks the other way

there are some things about what the spurs are doing that might make you wonder if they want to win games this season

its less than ideal!

but getting a high draft pick, maybe good

they shd draft bronny and get bron for a year or two, things of that nature

he seems like a victim of that thing where prospects are compared to guys who recently preceded them and whose games they only vaguely resemble, so it was decided that cade would be an oversized point guard who's on the ball a lot.

he can defintely dish it but he’s not really a first option type scorer at this point, definitely might be asked to do a lil too much at this point given the offensive talent on the team
