they are starting two negative defenders (obi toppin and mathurin) and a zero (haliburton).

bruce and myles not enough to get it above the bottom of the league tho huh.

mathurin is thought to have defensive potential right?

i’m surprised jarace walker just isn’t playing for them. i thought he looked pretty good in summer league. they’re really that invested in jalen smith?

yeah its just not enough. myles is snowed under at the rim

mathurin is a great athlete and quite strong. he is a better defender this year and i expect he will continue to improve. but he still has issues with defending in a scheme and losing focus. hopefully he will be defending at an acceptable level next season.

the pacers dont really care about jalen smith, its just that jarace is not ready for the nba game. he is a project and i am a bit concerned... hopefully he has a better career than uh justise winslow

apologies if this has already been mentioned here but apparently Mike Conley turned the ball over on the Wolves' first possession of the season and hasn't turned it over since?? He's played 200 minutes, 30 assists, no turnovers since that lone first one. Put taking care of the ball like that together with their D and the rise of Ant, and baby you've got a stew goin'
