feel like this video is illustrative of whats really going on, jaylens handle can be a little loose at times but he a guy who gets to the rim a lot the man can dribble at the very least enough to be a very effective three level scorer, with both hands even, hes was 13th in the league in scoring last year, his bigger issue altogether is poor court vision, hes a bad passer he gets lost off the ball on defense hes slow to make decisions etc, if you look at where jimmy butler is in this play hes in position to rip the ball but for whatever reason doesnt try, in last years ecf he was def trying and succeeding, if he had gotten the steal on this play the issue wouldve been more jaylens decision to drive into a spot where the ball is exposed to jimmy rather than any technical issue with his dribbling, theres nowhere else for the ball to be in this drive than his left hand, i mean maybe kyrie could do some tricky throw ahead stuff there but for non top ten ball handlers it is what it is, jaylens turnovers are more about poor decisions than bad dribbling

in conclusion the thing people are criticizing about jaylens game is actually something much worse haha

Catching up on the Bulls game from last night, watched the last 5 min and OT. And goddamn, Caruso is a pure agent of chaos. It's beautiful to watch. 13 points, 13 rebounds (6 offensive!), 3 loose ball recoveries, 2 charges drawn, 6 deflections, 1 block, 2 steals (including the game saving one), and hit the game winning shot. Overall +29 in just over 31 mins. I can almost forgive him for the abomination he calls a beard.

His effort and DeMar being a 4th quarter foul merchant are the only ways the Bulls are going to win games this year.

DeRozan was unstoppable in the 4th but just couldn't hit the last FT. Raptors would have won if they were just capable of inbounding the ball cleanly...

Yeah, I think there is enough of a sample size that we can say Maxey is one of the best shooters in the league. His range is getting deeper, he can get his own shot, and he should simply shoot all the time.

Completing the Lillard trade was always going to include swallowing some kind of bitter pill. Taking on Ayton and his ugly contract was the glaring downside, but the amount of upside made it worthwhile. The Blazers were always going to be bad for a couple of seasons, so it's not like they'll need to hide Ayton's weaknesses during the playoffs.

well the ayton trade was folded into the lillard trade for grease-skidding purposes but it was agreed upon ahead of time. they did not have to take him on in order to facilitate the deal

If the Ayton trade had gone down with Lillard still in a Blazer uniform, no Jrue trade, therefore no Brogdon, no Rob Williams, with Nurk sent away and a weaker bench I would have clawed my face off.
