if nurk and okogie can reach these heights on most nights theyll be incredible

nurk has been so good both times I went to Blazers games, but I guess health and consistency are issues

nurk and okogie seem like pretty dicey guys to bank on but maybe they can hold up next to the three big gunners

didnt watch all of the second game but no surprise, particular considering suns and dubs were missing key guys, denver looked much better than the other three teams

am curious to see when the warriors figure out the cp3 fit bcuz it just feels like they really lacked shot creation last night. 7-31 from three for steph, klay & cp ... on the one hand they'll shoot better but also a lot of warriors possessions end w/ steph or klay taking very difficult threes because they don't have anyone aside from steph who can bend the defense off the dribble. only putting up 108 points on this suns team is pretty terrible

they also got massacred on the glass which again vs the suns team is really bad. obviously draymond being back will help, but the best way to combat rebounding issues when playing small is just to try really hard & i wonder how much this warriors team wants to be fighting tooth and nail for gang rebounds in the regular season. okogie really embarrassed them in the second quarter last night. the wiggins we saw in the finals isn't the guy who is showing up to the arena on most nights.

i believe it was kevin pelton who wrote/said/tweeted at some point over the offseason that the regular season history of teams as old as the warriors really isn't great. they looked old to me last night. it's funny but i thought you felt the absence of poole last night in that this team really needs a young guy who can score on his own. i wonder if cp3 ends up on the d'angelo russell track bcuz i'm not sure the solution for them is more old legs

wonder what they will do if thats the case, they notably did not extend klay who is in the last year of his deal

way too early to draw any concrete conclusions but wiggins hasnt looked great since he got back from taking 2/3 of last season off. kuminga finished in his place last night, he's going to need to be the guy that put pressure on the rim nightly. they missed about 20 layups last night. i think the bench will be really good actually, once drays back the rotations will make sense.

unfortunately they have like 8/10 upcoming games on the road and a couple back to backs in there... they need to get off to a better start than last season.
