Warriors are 33-121 on 3s in the 3 games in LA. I talked with @DannyLeroux in the series preview about how they never seem to shoot well on the road vs the Lakers, and how they were in trouble if that continued. It certainly did.

lakers are third in net rating in the playoffs & have by far the best defensive rating of any team left. of course denver has the best offensive rating in the playoffs. denver is obv the clear favorite but the lakers have been very good in the playoffs. they also had the best defense in the playoffs the year they won the title for whatever that’s worth

AD has looked like the best defender in the league in the playoffs so it’s wonderful we get to see him match up vs jokic. should be a fun series.

ad definitively vociferously does not like to bang with the big boys will be interesting to see how he holds up, be curious to see bron on joker too

scoring a bunch of points v the nuggets is prob the most doable plan but besides that keeping jokic away from the basket without double teaming is what youre trying to do cause once hes inside of seven feet its lights out baby and bron might be better than ad for that since hes stronger with a lower center of gravity and is also just a savvier player

ad might be able to get good contests even if joker gets to his spots tho idk not sure he has the motor to defend him the whole game

ideally, they’d give bron a lot of looks on jokic and put AD on gordon, who he can sag off of and play safety. but bron is probably going to wear down quickly and the nuggets will be trying to move the ball a lot to keep davis honest. I like a lot of the individual matchups for denver. AD might need to score a lot

gordon had a fantastic defensive series on durant and I think he’ll do fine on bron at that end. denver has a ton of wings to throw at reaves and even switch on lebron. I think the lakers are going to have to have a really good shooting series and, um, look to play 8 on 5 as much as possible
