that rule is worded so weird, it seems like the ball touching a player or a physical object should be the determinant for out of bounds

didnt look like that one went behind it maybe a tiny bit at the end idk, passing over the stanchion does seems kind of weird tho

obvs its not just being generally in back of the line of the basket is out cause then whole baseline area would be out

it does seem weird but that's probably just cause there's no reason to do it usually.
