i guess part of it is that robert williams should be playing like 8 mpg in this series, lanky bouncy centers just have zero hope against embiid & you can’t be playing drop coverage so hard that you give him practice jumpers like this in the third quarter of a 2-2 series. but the effort overall is just completely abysmal — round 2 last year embiid was having to fight off bam with a 2x4 just to catch an entry pass at the foul line

I must have been high on that Sixers victory, because I had a dream last night that I was Tyrese Maxey and I was playing in a Finals Game 7. The weird part was the game was taking place in the Electronics Department of the K-Mart I worked in from 1992-1994. The baskets were at the two registers at the front of the Department and there were customers milling about that I was having to avoid and provide service to at the same time. We won the game and the feeling of camaraderie and joy and accomplishment in the dream hanging out with my teammates postgame was so palpable and incredible - I had won a championship! Just an amazing dream, I highly recommend it.
