it’s been a horrible series for him & the idea that he can do much of anything to slow down jokic seems like it was a mirage prob based on denver not having a real team two seasons ago

seems like the only path forward for the Suns is KD and Booker having superhuman games

jokic is now approaching the 2011 lebron zone where the standards for his play are so high that he can have a 30-17-17 game and be a positive +/-, but people question whether he should be passing less in the 4th quarter

his legs looked completely dead last night. he had no explosion, couldn’t get by anybody. he finally got that lay up in the fourth quarter throwing it up from a low angle. they showed the reverse angle and he looked old as hell

they’re putting a shit ton of shooting on the floor and are still able to play good defense

also there’s an element of basically… what kawhi has tried to do in LA — pace his way thru the regular season and then become one of the elite 16 game players — is what jimmy is currently doing. when he can give max effort on both ends for a full game every game they look a lot better.
