butler also was clearly messing with embiid at the end of the half. he fronted him super hard in the post for a full 20 seconds denying him the ball the whole possession and then the next time down got right up in his chest and forced him into throwing the ball out of bounds

the nuggets backups are the suns kryptonite

gotta say when the suns are hitting their jumpers it is pretty tough to imagine a way to stop them

there can’t be a single defense in the league that is built to prioritize stopping mid range shots

this nuggets team has taken years off my life, ILH. past two months, any day could be a day like 2 days ago when they come out full strength but completely mentally checked out and lose to the rockets, or a game like tonight where their 5 best players are sitting and they come out with insane energy and take it to arguably the best team in the west. it’s killing me

by the way it is so wild that the nuggets traded for thomas bryant, who was leading the league in true shooting at the time, and now he can’t even get run in a game like this. doesn’t exactly cover malone in glory

the bulls are locked into the 10 and have nothing to play for so maybe the thinking is that they're gonna run out a g league squad so the mavs can win the game just rolling luka out there? bcuz otherwise i don't really understand, seeing as the mavs just beat the kings a few days ago. feels like they picked their direction
