idk hes small and unathletic dont think theres anyone on the celtics he can check, all their guys have at least a few inches on him, also hes known for shooting

not to mention how he works within important defensive concepts like switching

but i guess well see since hes a good shooter can handle the ball and is a good defender hell surely get a lot of playoff minutes

i dont understand why the bucks offense isnt better theyve got prob the most dominant player with the ball in the league and theyve got middleton and jrue who are both dynamic smart players and then theyve got all these shooters seems like that should be good for a top offense

tho obvs re that chart its their defense that been bad recently and their offense has been good, but still

mb its just cause middleton has been injured and is now healthy but idk their offense doesnt super optimized

they have such a weirdly streaky offense, one day they'll be setting records and the next they go 2/37 from 3. trouble is that happens a lot in the playoffs

all their big three have a tendency to play a little slow hold the ball and so forth mb has something to do with it

giannis is also league average in terms of shooting efficiency and he takes a lot of their shots

hes +2 ts% compared to league average but is scoring at a near alltime rate, they talk about it at ~18:00 here

yeah i listened to that podcast, hes slightly above average efficiency and leading the league in scoring usage, and their offense is slightly above average officiency, seems to fit!

not to say hes bad on offense of course but if you look at the guys who are top 10 in usage the only guys who are helming a top 10 offense are embiid and tatum

a big part of it has got to be missing middleton for most of the year, crazy theyve been as good as they have tbh

yeah you not only have giannis minutes being dragged down but any minute they’ve played with both giannis and middleton sitting (incl entire games) has prob driven their numbers into the tank. i def have caught the bucks on some nights and you see the line ups they run out w/o giannis and it’s pretty ugly offensive basketball. they’ve been top 5 in offensive rating each of the last two seasons not sure it’s a huge mystery as to why they’re barely above average this year

they also just have a roster slanted towards defense i mean jrue is far from the ideal fit next to giannis on offense but obv on the other side of the ball that’s about as good a defensive duo you could come up with. same for brook like if you’re gonna play another 7 foot center next to giannis he better be able to shoot but they’re still playing another center next to giannis. the fact that they’ve had top 5 offenses the last two years even while building their team this way kinda explains why they’re the title favorites

yeah jrue is good as third option but is way overmatched as a second

Weird last night kawhi didn’t play in the 2nd half. Rumors that they’re trying to duck 5th so they won’t have to play the suns round one. Tied w dubs currently record wise. Trying to maneuver when you’re like two losses from like falling out completely seems not smart.
