thought this video was good theres a lot in there but one the thing that really stuck out for me is the increasing willingness of refs to reward offensive players for initiating contact, in the 80s that cp3 play wouldve never been called a defensive foul because he so clearly drove into hueter, where as now offensive players get calls for collisions in any situation where they have a right to the space unless they really put their shoulder into it or extend an arm

someone wld put together a nice package for him this offseason hes just that good but the clock is def ticking hes one injury away from being untradable, maybe blazers shutting him down is an indication that theyre looking to move him who knows

my current read on the local temperature is fans have in the main resigned themselves to never winning with a dame-centric roster (there's just not enough time to assemble it, let it gel, etc, plus no assets to get there in the first place) and would probably wish him well if a rich package came together

Embiid very mopie and lazy all game was late to warmups always aloof and disconnected on the bench. Mailed it in all game then they got down by 20 w 6 minutes left and I thought for sure he’d sit since it was third game in four nights including a double OT. But nope he stayed in and they just fed him the ball so he could foul bait and get his points up. He got his points. Shameless mvp hunting.
