watching the bucks smother devin booker and chris paul… their defense is hellacious. sometimes a guy is trying to score on jrue with giannis and brook helping, it’s an impossible task. in games where crowder is hitting threes jrue-middleton-crowder-giannis-brook is prob the best 5 man line up in the league. maybe in games where they aren’t shooting well they can be got… jrue and crowder do run pretty hot and cold. but that’s still a really solid amount of shooting around giannis and on defense they completely suffocate you

my money is still on the bucks for sure

suns will win games but the huge question as to who their 5th guy will be on any given night is a major red flag. okogie and craig and ish are gonna get a TON of open looks.

i think they'll find some ring chasers this offseason but i just dont see it coming together this season for them. its possible cos the west is open and they have the top-end talent, but unlikely without time to gel.

occurs to me that his counseling was prob media prep

i guess he’s in a tough spot where he can’t admit to menacing people with/possessing guns for legal (criminal and civil) reasons but there’s been enough credible reporting on these incidents that any other explanation just feels like an attempted cover up

it’s always a shaky apology when someone says “i apologize for my actions” and you’re still not even clear on what their actions were

so i gather he's not addressing any of the other violent/menacing behavior that's been in the reporting?
