people tend not to notice or care cause hes so productive but that injury took a lot from him his game has gotten really one dimensional hes mostly operating from the elbow taking a dribble or two and shooting a middy, celtics played him physical denied him pushed him off his spots doubled him and dared him to find the open man which he was constantly late doing

most teams dont have the personnel to do that as well as the celtics did but theyll prob try anyway

As the West is shaping up, Ja seems increasingly justified in being so cocksure about the Grizz having little trouble getting to the Finals. The Warriors don't look deep enough, healthy enough, or together enough to get it done this year and every other West contender has obvious ugly flaws that can be exploited in the playoffs.

yeah theoretically it makes sense but the griz need to play up to their potential for it to work

also shd be noted that their defense has really fallen off since steven adams got injured, and hes a pretty easy guy to play off the floor in the playoffs

the grizz quietly have a lot of depth issues as well especially at the wing, could be kind of important in a playoff series.

i was listening to… one of the podcasts… and they were talking about how important steven adams is to memphis’ offense bcuz they’re so reliant on his offensive rebounding in the halfcourt. i think they were saying that if you drilled down statistically to just halfcourt offenses based solely off their first shot taken memphis rates as one of the worst teams in the league. alarming to say the least

i’m def on the side of them being too happy to slow play their hand. they need to flip a bunch of picks and young players for 1-2 more undeniable playoff rotation players & stop trying to two timeline it
