Kind of lifts the veil on a lot of ugly, not just from Portland, though I guess I shouldn't be surprised that players get painkillers during the playoffs.

Toradol is from the NSAID class like ibuprofen but Toradol is only available by prescription and is considered a stronger pain reliever than ibuprofen.

I saw it reported that Payton's agent has denied GPII was given Toradol.

GPs agent is also Dames agent apparently lol so not sure what side he’s playing on

toradol itself isn't shady (imo) but not reporting GPII was taking it (if he was) to be able to play, that might be shady depending on how much disclosure is typically done with these deals. i guess that's why the player has to pass the physical as a contingency. or are these deals "as is" ?

i think that’s the issue—there’s language around trade execution about how you have to disclose things like this. the physical is basically to validate that the player is coming as-described.

i think toradol is pretty widely used in the nfl but i’ve never heard of it in an nba context.

there’s nothing particularly special about toradol, as mentioned it’s a more potent cousin of ibuprofen, but if he needs it on a regular basis that might be something a team would want to know

Feel like he's also gotta be one of the most blocked players in the league.

i really love poole. the fanbase is always mad at him and hes prone to boneheadedness and being completely out of control but hes endlessly entertaining. and we dont win the chip last year without him.

So glad to see them somewhat comfortably put a game like that away. Having Wiggins looking like he did last year helps.

front court depth still a major issue but ill ride with that team. loon or dray gets hurt and its trouble tho

outside of rookie deals, looneys contract has to be one of the best in the league

Some crazy comebacks in the last few games. Wonder what will happen if the dubs can manage to be up double digits in the first half? Road trip coming to see if the recent excellence can be maintained.

Yah these are some vintage warriors third quarter runs. Starting w the defense. Klay looking as good as ever. Donte, klay, gp2, curry, Wiggins, kuminga, Dray, loon feels like a championship level defense.

Joe Ingles always goes 6 for 8 from 3 or something stupid good.

whenever I watch the bucks I can't help but admire what a well-constructed team it is. I don't think they're deep into the luxury tax like the dubs, either.

i looked it up and the bucks are ranked 4th, at about $60million-something in tax. the dubs are closer to $300million.

Yah no Giannis but they had a lineup of Javon, jrue, Middleton, ingles and bropez for a bit and they’re all just so smart and solid defensively. Well constructed team I think.

i suppose it doesn't really matter and don't want to rubberneck but is there any intel on what is going on with wiggins? announcers and such talking about how whatever the dubs' issues are now, their starting lineup is still the best in the league so no one wants to see them in the offs is starting to feel increasingly hypothetical... :(

Judging by all the "we don't know if he'll be back this season" and "life is bigger than basketball" talk I can only assume a close family member has a terrible illness. Hope things work out well for him and his folks.
