im so happy hes back he was a perfect fit

flipped wiseman into gp2 and saved a ton of money

traded wiseman for a back up center they can actually play

warriors need front court depth tho they need a buyout big to eat up 10-15 minutes a game

gp2 getting the bag to live in portland for 6 months and then ending up back on the warriors... great stuff for him

its beautiful. also got to heal and take the first half of the season off lol. just got his ring from the dubs like last week

yup, gsw guard depth is actually really deep. curry, klay, poole, donte, gp2

gpII rehabbed in pdx, was paid all season, played in about five games and gets to go back and play for the curernt champs. sweet deal for him.

idk you can get pretty good value with random euros and undrafted players too

i just mean there has to be some reason why the teams acquiring 5 seconds are doing that

maybe the thinking is that if you're giving me 2 second round picks you might as well give me 5

there’s also a pretty big gulf between top half seconds and bottom half seconds as far as value goes. when someone just says 5 seconds it’s really not enough detail.

also not reported is how many or how few picks the team already has

the thing with seconds is i think their main value is as trade chips, plus they’re also useful for good teams who need to fill out roster spots with cheap contracts. if you find a real NBA player with one of the picks that’s gravy but not something you can really count on

they're only useful as trade chips if somebody at the end of the line thinks they have value. it can't all just be a shell game (i don't think)

i think people like second round picks because they can push a trade offer over the top to get it accepted. it's basically a bubble
