many are saying trade bron
― Clay, Sunday, 8 January 2023 21:33 (three years ago)
trade him
― lag∞n, Sunday, 8 January 2023 22:19 (three years ago)
Bron cannot currently be traded due to the recent extension
― They do the Shug a loo, do the Shy Tuna, do the Kemba Walker (fionnland), Sunday, 8 January 2023 23:49 (three years ago)
you can get around that by trading everyone else on the team for everyone on the team you would have traded him to

reaaaallly hoping thats just a mcl sprain but it could be bad
― im a beacon of light (Spottie), Monday, 9 January 2023 04:35 (three years ago)
your prayers have been answered
Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant has been diagnosed with an MCL sprain in right knee and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.— Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) January 9, 2023
― lag∞n, Monday, 9 January 2023 16:42 (three years ago)
thats great news
― im a beacon of light (Spottie), Monday, 9 January 2023 16:59 (three years ago)
hopefully he comes back at full strength in like a month and by then the nets mojo has been completely depleted
― lag∞n, Monday, 9 January 2023 17:03 (three years ago)
yes that would be the ideal scenario - we get to see some all time KD playoff performances, in the context of heartbreaking losses and simmons and kyrie meltdowns
― Lavator Shemmelpennick, Monday, 9 January 2023 17:33 (three years ago)
or maybe bad kd playoff performances like last year cause hes still just shooting from the elbow over and over
― lag∞n, Monday, 9 January 2023 17:36 (three years ago)
this is not normal its like kobe if he actually hit his shots

btw i wish they would let you do one of just halfcourt offense
unltimatly i think the nets biggest playoff weakness is theyre just too soft not sure anyone in the rotation really plays physical maybe rocye oneal, last year v the celtics all those kd mid range looks got a lot tougher and he just didnt have any adjustment to make i dont think he has the mobility to do a lot of the things he used to but hes papered over that by being one of the best shooters ever
― lag∞n, Monday, 9 January 2023 17:46 (three years ago)
and the east is full of very physical teams ready to get grimy in the offs

otm, hate to have injuries masking the real drama

geez derozan just went down, non-contact while he was dribbling. holding his left knee.
― call all destroyer, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 01:53 (three years ago)
did not look good
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 01:54 (three years ago)
seems like hes ok
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 01:55 (three years ago)
he's walking. tripped slightly on horford's foot on the replay. kind of weird tbh.
― call all destroyer, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 01:55 (three years ago)
yeah not sure why he was grabbing his knee
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 01:57 (three years ago)
out w a quad strain now, mystery solved
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 02:08 (three years ago)
watching the bulls it occurs to me theyve made some bad draft picks patrick williams (4) coby white (7)
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 02:11 (three years ago)
its not like either of those drafts were stacked after them but they both seemed like reaches at the time and it turns out they were
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 02:18 (three years ago)
then they traded picks for vooch
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 02:20 (three years ago)
yeah, interesting though how guys like lauri and wendell carter leave there and instantly get better. if you suck at development maybe don't take a guy like williams who was universally understood to be a developmental pick.
― call all destroyer, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 02:22 (three years ago)
yeah theyve had a bunch of lottery picks and just have not hit
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 02:28 (three years ago)
Don’t think it can be understated how detrimental boylin was to some of those guys growth
― im a beacon of light (Spottie), Tuesday, 10 January 2023 02:37 (three years ago)
the bulls are a great example of how you can be bad for a while and have a run of top 10 picks and still end up with essentially nothing. of course the franchise might have something to do with that. but in the patrick williams draft they ended up having the fourth pick in a year where there were three impact players in the entire lottery. the 6-10 picks in the coby white draft have all been disasters. they haven’t made any outrageously bad picks. the one outrageously bad thing they did ended up in them missing out on franz wagner (but then maybe they take james bouknight instead)
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 10 January 2023 02:39 (three years ago)
they’re a really bad franchise. if they hadn’t lucked into derrick rose they might not have had a single good team post MJ
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 10 January 2023 02:43 (three years ago)
bulls way underrated as far as terrible franchises go, they're just as bad as the kings etc but don't get the same press because, idk, they had derrick rose for a couple years and people remember mj?
― Clay, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 02:49 (three years ago)
pretty much
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 02:50 (three years ago)
kinda funny and sad that two of what should be the nbas premiere franchises via being in big cities with good fanbases bulls and knicks just suck
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 02:51 (three years ago)
welllll they did make the playoffs 10 out of 11 years between 04-05 and 14-15, they also found jimmy butler and had jo noah and luol deng and some other good pros, the kings would throw 200 random sacramento citizens down a well for that type of record over the past 20 years.
― call all destroyer, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 02:54 (three years ago)
that said it has truly gone off the rails more recently and ownership seems to be checked out
were also really bad for a long time post mj, but yeah they had a good run in there, couple of those rose teams were actual good teams
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 02:56 (three years ago)
they made a good coaching hire which helped a ton. basically everything else they’ve done has been a mess
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 10 January 2023 03:01 (three years ago)
great finish between the bucks and knicks. brunson put up 44 and made several really difficult shots on jrue. but jrue hit three huge shots himself and the knicks just couldn’t catch them
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 10 January 2023 03:04 (three years ago)
my favorite bulls thing was when they drafted curry and chandler in the same draft for some reason
― Clay, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 03:04 (three years ago)
no one who spelled eddy that way was ever going anywhere
― call all destroyer, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 03:10 (three years ago)
I think it's just the cumulative effect of so many people going "just give us one more, I don't care if they never win again"
― frogbs, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 03:10 (three years ago)
when i was watching the last dance i was slightly surprised to realize that oh yeah, jerry reinsdorf is still the owner of the bulls after 35 years and still coherent enough to give interviews and stuff. might be time for him to realize some capital gains.
― circles, Tuesday, 10 January 2023 03:24 (three years ago)
today's nba factoid of the day is that chris duarte is only 15 months younger than myles turner
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 10 January 2023 16:11 (three years ago)
i did an investigation a while ago trying to figure out how he got so old it wasnt totally conclusive but it seemed like he did some extra high school when he moved from the dominican to usa
