i'm just as nba-obsessed as ever so i am definitely in but ngl the complete lack of acknowledgement of my victory last year left me feeling a little empty. i am aware i did not play my role of gloating either, but to keep things maximum fun would humbly request we up the ante on the chatter this year. i will also check in with my buddy jon who rounded out our octet last year

I do feel bad, congrats on the big W and for being the ILH fantasy gold ball owner (for now and for not very long cos I’m coming for the crown)

it was a good team name because it was easy to remember who was on it (also a good team from my hazy memories of the 2022-23 regular NBA season

this year's winner needs to commit to gloating incessantly

yeah my team was full of superteam bums... i think i had both PG and Kawhi? maybe even Russ or Harden, feel like there was another one... i know for sure i had the once and future king a da bums, Simmo the Savage. I think I drafted him in like the 15th round and still instantly regretted it and it haunted the first half of my season. thank god for joker forgiving all my sins and carrying me to the gold in a proverbial horse harness

what're our draft deets? season starts 10/24, should we look at that sunday the 22nd? i have a busy day that day but iirc we try to do fairly late to accommodate the west coasters, i could probably be available from 9pm EST that day

22nd is not a good day for me. earlier or later would be better. maybe Thursday the 19th?

I have my other fantasy basketball drafts on Sunday Oct 22nd at 8am pt and 11am pt so it would be great if it was not those times for me.
