by far the "clutchest" thing you can do as a player in the regular season is play at mvp level for the whole season

i feel more neutral about all the renamings, and who cares about the trophies, but yeah adding the clutch thing feels ridiculous. call me cynical but leaning in to this most controversial concept in sports of what it is to be clutch, is there such a thing as clutch, etc. seems calculated to just create grist for the mill of the media machine

yeah belts are nice, i watched a doc about roy jones and he was talking about how the first belt he got was just some lil regional one no one even knows about but he really wanted because it was green lol

all the awards should be tiaras and the nominees stand onstage at a live event and then ernie johnson walks behind them and playfully holds the tiara over each nominee's head and whoever gets the most cheers wins
