interesting detail that when brad went to the front office he hired a guy who was much more of an a-dog type coach just a very different personality than him but now with mazzulla were back to a nerdy soft spoken guy

when they do one of those mic'ed up moments in the huddle where the coach is gesticulating and barking at his players i'm like okay wow finally we're going to really understand how they set up their plays, the secret sauce and i swear every time it's just "get stops! stay connected! let's do this!"

Although to be fair pretty sure there is some kind of agreement between the league and teams that mic’ed up stuff that gets broadcast won’t reveal strategy or plays or anything, so we tend to get the most benign moments

right he was asked about it and said he was staying with donda and gave a big wishy washy answer about how everyone’s complex and working through issues blah blah. i think he genuinely cares about the people he’s met via donda and didn’t want to throw them under the bus but that wasn’t the way to do it. glad he’s realised quickly.

this not having rob or theis situation is troubling me, last year their defensive excellence was predicated by the fact that they played big, not just starting two big men but they they were big at all the perimeter positions too, not only can they not play that way right now they dont even have a good backup center, theyre down two centers and its causing them to not be able to play defense, the offense is nice tho lol

i think finding a backup center and then starting a horf-grant front court could work, then hopefully you get rob back at some point

the good news is finding a backup center who can defend and rebound isnt the hardest thing
