i'm def of the position that if the wolves don't at least make the west finals at some point in the next 3 years the gobert move will be a failure. would be great for them to win a playoff series and all but you shouldn't have to give away the largest trade package in NBA history just to win a first round series

the thing w/ russell wilson is not just that he was a robotic cornball but that his teammates despised him bcuz he was phony and did stuff like made them call his manager to get in touch w/ him. i don't get the sense that KAT's teammates dislike him. aside from one prominent example lol

guys who dont have big passion for the game seem to decline early, maybe cause your athletic peak is in your early 20s so you need to compensate by getting better at basketball in better shape savvier etc, and if youre not really about that your career just ends up following your athletic curve

its actually crazy how bad some of our best players are at the most basic and fundamental parts of basketball

man, unhealthy flashbacks to watching hundreds of lamarcus aldridge games and constantly harping on how he doesn't ever set a screen, just kinda feints towards a defender and immediately pops or rolls without the tiniest bit of contact

maybe noted most valuable screen setter daniel thies can become the next big man sensei like when guys would go to olajuwon to learn post moves
