maybe tatum needs to play off ball more he has not been able to beat the defense this series or last, whether its because hes actually hurt or just not good enough doesnt matter

yeah hes been better when hes activating playmaking mode relocating and so forth

It’s funny because if you’re ever going to call Tatum or Smart assholes, it was the last five minutes of this game.

honestly they're still trying to figure out how to run the right offense for them which is amazing given this run they're on. whatever is going on with tatum's shoulder has definitely taken him out of rhythm and he's obv not the same player he was back in the nets series.

they were never going to win the whole thing on offense but tonight was an offensive loss for them--down the stretch they just couldn't find anything that worked.

xp that's a credit to the warriors as well--klay, looney, and wiggins were all very strong on defense

i do get why you might want to run a lower ball movement offense to prevent turnovers in this matchup but that doesnt even seem to be what they're doing they are getting the worst of both worlds

there have been so so many plays where he drives to the hoop in traffic and then cant get the ball above the rim

i also am kind of agog - and fall prey myself - at how the narrative changes after literally every game. at any moment either boston or the warriors are definitely going to lose/win it all and everybody has a podcast explaining why.
