Some real poor shooting going on

what a hideous basketball game. the celts might fuck around and let the heat offensive rebound themselves into a win but i feel like the nail in the coffin run is coming here at some point

my main takeaway from that half is that something is very wrong with butler, he looks awful. he has no lift on his jumper and isn’t getting to the line at all or really doing anything on offense aside from shooting like standstill shots

feels like theres something wrong with all the scoring threats on both teams. everyone must be gassed and/or playing hurt

Espn halftime show is a joke. They talk for 30 seconds and then it’s commercial time again.

everyone looks dead. the every other day schedule is insanity at this point in the season.

tracking data tbf is a bit suspect cause when youre playing a good defensive team they speed you up and make you take weird shots maybe you get a semi contested look but you prob had to rush to get it and its not in your preferred spot the pass wasnt precise youre tired and beat up and so forth

wld be interesting to see what teams do internally with that data i bet they have some real nice stuff

yeah you would expect most semi-contests are on catch and shoots when someone flies out to the shooter late so that would def be many of the strus and vincent shots.

yeah it wasn't like the Bucks series where the shots were just clanging off the rim these were Westbrook-style misses

butler can't jump and is pointedly avoiding contact, lowry has been dragging a leg around all playoffs, herro was out and strus was getting treated in the locker room too. i don't think it's a huge shock that they're having trouble scoring against the no 1 defense in the league. not taking anything away from the celtics but it's not like it's some some huge mystery what's going on. if your whole offense in the east finals is gabe vincent, duncan robinson, PJ tucker and bam you're gonna score... 80 points
