Kinda hate that thybulle inclusion

pretty good list tbh

with guys like thybulle its like are you really a good defender if your offense is so bad you cant stay on the court when it matters, are you just a theoretical defender

i think youre in that territory with most guys at the end of the 2nd team

idk the only other guy up there you can really say that about is fuckin rudy gobert

although tbf they leave him in to stand around irrelevantly

well it is a regular season award

the regular season is a farce, a mere dream

out of the guys missed out - vanderbilt, herb jones, anunoby, caruso, finney smith, butler, covington, pat bev (?) - theres a few stiffs in there.

thybulle is a specialist within a specialist. he's a guard whose only real skill is off-ball defense. the steals and blocks are fun but he's not much of a basketball player.

tbf rudy is a very good rim runner which one more thing than thybulle can do

i'd just be happy there are no deandre jordan or faded kobe selections becaise there are normally a couple

jrue is a bit of a reputation pick though obviously he can still crank it up when it matters

i wld like to see dub-mavs go 7 this is a cool matchup

jrue is absolutely deserving

everyone knows that jrue and giannis are great defenders but the bucks didnt actually play great defense this year, def coasting a bit plus lopez being out hurt them

So much of these playoffs are one team goes 14/26 from 3 in one half and the other team loses.

Yeah that make-or-miss league, high variance stuff is my least fav thing about the hoisting era

still think at the very least they should widen the court so that the corner three isnt closer

it’s prob anecdotal but it does feel like there’s been 2 or 3 close great games in these playoffs and then a bunch of hoist feuled blowouts

few close game in the celtics bucks series not buzzer beaters but single digits

the mavs are ground zero really. the jazz series had some close games but in the suns series there were margins of 20, 19, 30, 27 and 33. game 1 of this series was 25 and we’ve got a 14 point margin here at half

i'm going to say this is as clear terms as i can: the refs need to actually take charge of something and get the mavs end of bench guys off of the motherfucking court.
