the middleton thing obv hangs over any bucks analysis but they just need to get better on the wing. they have a PG, two wings and a center, pretty amazing backbone of a roster, but you can’t be relying that much on wes matthews, obv grayson showed his little pink butt in this series & even if he’s shooting well his defense makes him a bit player at best in a series of this caliber. connaughton is prob fine & has good chemistry with all those guys but they need to find 2-3 real rotation players. feel like it’s not talked about enough that they let PJ tucker walk bcuz they didn’t wanna go into the tax. small market and all but when you have a team like this you really should be going into the tax every year to upgrade the margins of your roster so that you don’t get knocked out of the playoffs shooting 4-33 from three with guys that other teams didn’t want on their roster. it will be a very interesting offseason for that front office, curious to see what they’re able to pull off
