all the post-game videos are about how the dubs defense gummed up the mavs offense (plus they missed a lot of open 3s). no doubt the mavs will make adjustments. but steph and klay will probably shoot better so, shrug, we end up in the same place?

pretty much everyone played B+ ball or higher for the dubs (except d lee, and klay really only in the 3rd) and no one played well for the mavs. the dubs d was sharp but the offense was even sharper, they kept the turnovers down. luka was really passive in spurts, he got all the way to the rim a few times then threw it away which was weird... more TOs than made FGs. the adjustments between game 1-2 should be interesting. trapping curry didnt work cos draymond and poole picked it apart and everyone was hitting. everything can change but the mavs defense didnt look nearly as sharp as the grizzlies, and they dont have anyone in the paint like JJJ/Adams so the dubs got a lot of points inside.

Even after the X-rays showed it was an elbow fracture, and we knew I was gonna be out, I wasn’t angry about what went down. Also, for the record: There’s no bad blood between me and Dillon. After we closed out Game 6, I got word that he wanted to talk outside the locker room, and when I got there he apologized. I give Dillon a lot of credit for that — no text, no social media, nothing indirect. He came in person, and we talked like grown men. He told me he didn’t mean to hurt me. I believe him.

Lollll. Moody looked good and it’s pretty mad that Kerr hasn’t been playing him over Lee. He isn’t as prone to mistakes as Kuminga and seems to be in the right places.

xpost Poole. By 2nd half of G2 he was great. He figured out he has the speed and handles to get where he wants & that he can he finish around or over the Mavs relatively weak interior defense. He could go to town for the rest of the series.

kd been arguing with warriors (steph stans) on twitter for like five hours about curry double teams lol. dray started it on his pod and kd is denying it and now dray is back in arguing. that final 1.5 years of kd in gs was such weird energy i would love to one day know what curry really thinks of the whole situation, im sure we'll never know.
