Warriors will get the Grizzlies in the second round. Game 1 is on Sunday afternoon in Memphis. Forty hours from now. Grizzlies have to fly home from Minnesota. Warriors have a morning practice and flight from SF to Memphis tomorrow. Not much prep time for either side.

well...it's over. it's funny, if you told me prior to the season we win 46 games and lose to the grizzlies in 6 i would have thought you were crazy. but the way in unfolded, especially the game 3 meltdown, it's little frustrating because there were moment they had this series they are just couldn't close the deal.

all that said i'm going nuts over these stupid sports cucks on MN twitter who literally just watched two NBA games all season and are acting like a 7 that won 23 games last year is another "Minnesota sports curse"

was really a fun, ride most fun since the KG era (the Butler year we obviously were good but it was never fun, felt like a military forced march into a brick wall)...also there's no reason not to have hope for the future. roster needs work but we have 2 foundational pieces (I was boosting him this season but I think I've seen enough of Dlo) and some interesting role players

and THE LAD! we have a player that really inspires people, who makes you feel good and want to tune in, it's been a long time. Love def had some great seasons but he's not like that. KAT isn't really like that despite how dominant he can be. Just some real basketball joy which has been hard to come by around here.

Overall, I think Memphis is a better team so I can't be too mad, though they really did leave the door wide open for the Wolves.

yeah great season for the wolves they def have something to build on, feel like as the lad matures him and kat should settle into natural complimentary 1-2 scoring roles, dlo is def a problem he doesnt defend and has subpar playmaking skills they really need a more all around guy for their number 3 if they can trade him that would be very good and resigning him could be disastrous, overall their roster is pretty soft they need more defense size athleticism good stuff like that

good summary UMS. you’ve got the guy who’s a no doubt keeper and that’s the most important thing. definitely a season to celebrate.

D lo is a classic 82 game player, as they say, not a 16 game player. That Wiggins+ a pick (Kuminga) trade is looking like highway robbery but if it kept kat there then I guess it was worth it?

Middleton is really great especially vs. the Celtics but the team does play pretty well without him on the court, especially defensively. The problem is it’s gonna be like those Warriors/Cavs finals where the Bucks may have the best player but of the 10 best guys the Celtics have like 7 of them

yeah and also while the normal middleton lineups with patty c instead might be fine youre gonna end up giving minutes to deeper bench guys than you really want to or just play yr main guys too much

which is usually the way with injuries its not the guy who fills the injured spot you worry about its the guy who fills that guys spot, unless you happen to be really deep at a position like the celtics were losing rob for the first round horf theis and grant soaked up all his minutes and theyre all good players but thats pretty rare

Right I think George Hill also being out could also be a big deal but I actually don’t know if he’s any good as a bench guy anymore

yeah bucks are looking at a lot of connaughton allen mathews minutes and tbf all those guys could play good but they also could not, maybe see some carter and nwora too i guess which is getting pretty shaky

prob try to go huge with lopez-portis-giannis lineups some to limit those end of the bench minutes

everyone thought the pels decision to not resign him was really bizarre but i’ve been wondering if they saw something in his medicals that scared them off. the fact that nothing about that ever leaked out of new orleans when ppl were piling on them early in the season makes me think not, but it seems at least plausible. he did hurt the same knee when he was in LA
