think gobert would be better off on another team

he deserves a chance on a good defensive team instead of just being left as the clean up guy all the time

yeah saw some persuasive vids/articles about that earlier

gobert gets a bad rap but his takes seem to be pretty accurate

hard to build around him tho. modern nba makes it pretty pointless to have a defense-only center eating up 35% of your cap.

yeah the jazz have bad perimeter defenders but rudy is flawed too you can play whoever you want against him because he has no offensive skill besides rim running also hes slow which hurts transition play on both sides, basically hes a quality starter who has a bunch of awards and is paid like a star so we have to hear him talk and hear people talk about him, also hes a weird idiot who people seem not to like

i mean brook lopez protects the rim he makes $13m a year and can shoot threes kind of

and is still unplayable against certain matchups, but because he only makes 13 per you can sit him whenever you want and dont have to worry about the repercussions

the lakers squeezed out a title in a weird year thanks to lebron wanting to move to LA and klutch arranging the brow trade in which the lakers traded everything under the sun. but it seems pretty clear at this point that it's a poorly run organization that lets all sorts of lakers "family" (kobe's agent, magic, phil, jeanie) have a say in the decision making process w/o there being a real power structure led by someone who actually knows how to run a basketball team
