the mavs offense when the game gets under a minute is too easy to defend… luka dribbles until there’s 7 seconds left, bring the double team, make him pass it to someone else who has to figure out what to do with 5 seconds left 24 feet from the basket

I mean Kidd is that kind of coach, the reason why he couldn't do shit in the playoffs with Milwaukee is because everyone knew exactly what plays he was calling

tbf most teams run that kind of offense — aka no offense — when the game gets down to like 3 or 4 possessions left. so i don’t think it’s a jason kidd thing. but with the mavs it feels so pronounced bcuz there’s really only one guy you want to have the ball in those situations and it’s been a bit too easy to force him to pass it

mavs just won a playoff series where luka missed half the games not sure the kidd criticisms are hitting too hard right now. tbh he looks like a better coach for this roster than carlisle

When the Jazz got knocked out of the playoffs in Mitchell's rookie year I remember thinking "he plays a little out of control but he'll be great when he refines his game" but it looks like he never really did.

He takes some bad shots and has gotten super lazy on defense. His peak was clearly the bubble.

Kinda sad we got no chaos game sevens. Hopefully the wolves can come through tomorrow.
