felt like those two games were a great encapsulation of the entire debate surrounding the nets. game 1 kyrie almost singlehandedly wins them the game, game 2 he & KD are so tired they essentially literally cannot make a shot and they piss the lead away. in the end, they just don’t have enough.

drawing nets --> bucks --> [other east bracket winner] --> [western conf champ] is a truly brutal path

the nets are capable of playing good defense but they're not built to do it for 48 minutes, i mean the core problem for them is they're not a normal basketball team

you def need a guy who can go get a shot which most playoff teams have but the raps do not

didnt see the Bucks going down 18 in this one

hard to tell with Middleton completely disappearing for a second game in a row

Bucks do this every year and one year they did it and won the title

ideally the Bucks would want someone to pick up the slack when Giannis isn't playing well but it just affects the whole team when he's off

fwiw his last season in boston he had amazing first game in the 2nd round vs the bucks then dogged it in four straight losses and never looked back, he has a player option next year
