i feel like there’s precedent with the zion thing… it’s pretty similar to the kawhi situation w/ the spurs, or any number of times when a young guy got hurt and was held out for a year. the simmons thing i feel like has no precedence tho

There's still an evaluation ongoing on MRI results of Phoenix Suns All-Star Devin Booker's right hamstring, but it appears unlikely he will be able to play in Games 3 and 4 in New Orleans, sources tell ESPN.

zion was only supposed to be out for like a week when the season started

and the weight stuff with zion, and the family stuff, and the teammate stuff

Booker "unlikely he will be able to play in Games 3 and 4 " and "isn't being ruled out of this opening-round series" do not contradict one another. the series is already guaranteed to go five games.

have to think zion is having some regrets about taking it easy and not hurrying back, now that his team is actually exciting and making some noise.

all i know is i wish it were simmons instead of lavine in that commercial where zion and zach are lounging on the couch playing video games. couldve been a great image, missed opportunity for mtn dew or wingstop or gatorade or whatever

deeply respect the nerve of simmons wanting the sixers to have paid him for this season

same guy who never answered any calls/emails from them last summer because he thought they should swing by the gym in california where he worked out

Interesting read in retrospect, pretty much every concern expressed turned ended up being true

No matter how weird and fat Harden is, he's not Simmons.

I feel like the next steps are Simmons missing the rest of the playoffs, posting gym workout videos all summer, announcing a week before the start of next season that he's not ready, and then being fined by the Nets for missing games.

so far 2/15 fg 0/9 from 3. 6-7-2 total in two games.

crowder has always had huge variance in his performance, some epic cold streaks in his history. they're so talented as a team though, and with cam johnson and bridges sharing his skill set, they could afford for him to be exclusively a glue guy. that changes with booker out tho

I went on NBA.com and the headline was, "Embiid out for playoff redemption in Toronto" and completely freaked out.
