i’m surprised the nets went away from trying to switch kyrie onto bigger defenders at the end there. he seemed to want smart on him but they didn’t force any mismatches on that final possession… also he prob should’ve passed when he got doubled

i wonder if the series can maintain the level of physicality it had in that game. bcuz if so whoever comes out of it is gonna be beaten up before even getting to round 2. the bucks had to enjoy watching that one

a physical series should be strongly in the celtics favor but who knows what the future will bring

btw the nets not stopping the ball on the previous celtics possession was probably a mistake, particularly vs jaylen who will always keep going towards the basket until you stop him, scored with 17 on the clock

celtics not trapping kyrie until the last possession also prob a mistake

yeah that possession was the one that prob lost them the game. basically just handed the celtics 2 points without requiring any effort. even if they shave 3 more seconds off the clock it greatly alters how that final possession goes down xp

it feels like that late double team is starting to become popular as a defensive tactic in end of game possessions

i’ve seen kyrie score on like 3 guys many times this season but he had dragic wide open in the corner when horford double teamed him but he didn’t even think about passing to anyone until it was way too late

he looks way better than i thought he would and makes them much scarier

these bucks uniforms are hideous

i would love to see them do a sixers or hawks style makeover that saw them go back to a logo and motif that was simple and retro inspired. their uniforms from the 70s are great
