Warriors have more weapons on offense. Could be some shootouts and could have some grind it out games. Should be fun, it’s the matchup I’ve been wanting since Feb or so.

Warriors *might have their whole team for the first time this season. Iggy, gp2, Otto all supposed to be back in this series.

re: Jimmy's pull-up three, i think you have to give Horf a lot of credit for that miss. in the moment, Jimmy decides not to go 1-on-1 with Horf to tie the game. instead it's a gamble on a shot that's not one of his strengths. a lot of other guys Jimmy just goes at them.

for sure also jimmy was no doubt very tired he scored 4 points in the 4th and only took that one shot in the last five mins, going at backpedaling horford full speed with no hesitation trying to get the and 1 was probably the play but i dont think its that much better than taking the open 3

yeah jaylen is there tho hes got dipo spotted up on the wing to worry about horf is shading jimmy baseline if jimmy goes that way and jaylen helps thats prob a pretty difficult pass to dipo, jimmy crossing horf up and going middle on the other hand kind looks like the play easier said than done obvs and horf is good at trailing to contest if jimmy does get by him but then if jaylen helps its an easy pass to dipo, really i guess you want grant ready to split the difference between dipo and lowery but hes only got eyes for kyle here

One other factor is for a wild 3 like that there is an increased chance of offensive board, no? Even with how the ball actually went, Jaylen was able to tip it but a slightly different bounce and poorer position and Dipo couldve tipped it out. Maybe

but i think the heat’s best bet is getting some player (bradley beal) to convince his team (the wizards) as well as the rest of the league that the only place he wants to play is miami

miami had 16 total assists in game 7

they only had 3 in the first half they learned to pass at halftime

i just watched the last 3 minutes again and actually boston’s offensive decisions weren’t that bad. there was one brown drive to the paint with 18 seconds left on the shot clock, which missed, and one missed open three for smart with about 15 left. otherwise they ran out the clock pretty efficiently. the heat were all over them and leaving smart open. if anything boston got a little soft on defense, maybe didn’t want to foul? idk.

agree with whoever said they should hve been lookiing for a bucket rather than to run out the clock and have the ball eventually forced to smart for the shot. thats something you do with a minute left, not 2-3

yeah slowing the game down basically gave them no opportunity to score you cant just be pounding it then trying to go at a set heat d with 8 left on the clock

I wonder how someone would have done betting during these playoffs if you always just bet against the team that won the last game
