Yesterday was the first time they used the term "bone bruise"... that's a 1-2 month injury according to bing.com

game 1 will be 1 month from the injury

jammin on the dud (Spottie), Wednesday, 13 April 2022 18:35 (four years ago)

which game will it be for 2 months ;)

reggae mike love (polyphonic), Wednesday, 13 April 2022 20:31 (four years ago)

sadly, it wouldnt surprise me the way theyve been with injuries this year :(

jammin on the dud (Spottie), Wednesday, 13 April 2022 20:49 (four years ago)

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry (foot) is on track to make his return in Game 1 vs. Nuggets on Saturday as long as he clears team’s scrimmage today without issues, sources tell me and @anthonyVslater.

nice

Seems kinds crazy how much everyone is discounting the Warriors' chances in the playoffs. Am I just being a homer, or do we have a decent chance here?

DJI, Thursday, 14 April 2022 23:38 (four years ago)

its just a lot to figure out on the fly so the skepticism is warranted. currys health (and shot?), drays health, iggys health, where is klay at really, will poole be able to keep doing what hes doing with everyone back and less shots to go around, how do steph/klay/dray look back together (not too worried about this), which wiggins will we see, can looney/dray survive a deep playoff run as our only two defensive bigs. every team has questions of course but these are a lot.

having said that, they do have the highest ceiling of any team in the playoffs imo. they were the best team in the league for the first ~third of the season and that was without klay. plus poole has grown even more.

i just wouldnt be surprised with just about any outcome in these playoffs. i do expect them to beat the nuggets tho.

jammin on the dud (Spottie), Friday, 15 April 2022 00:00 (four years ago)

they are extremely rickety for the type of run you need to have to go deep in the playoffs. you need 7-8 guys who can play big minutes at a high level every other day.

call all destroyer, Friday, 15 April 2022 01:31 (four years ago)

cad otm. the warriors were occasionally dazzling during the regular season, but not lately, and they have lots of unanswered questions about what kind of a playoff run they can muster.

more difficult than I look (Aimless), Friday, 15 April 2022 01:50 (four years ago)

Halfway through the 2nd was I think our first glimpse of the Steph/Poole/Klay/Wiggins/Dray lineup. That also happened to be when they pulled ahead and never looked back.

"We gotta make sure we keep him on the team. He's the future," E-40 said about Jordan Poole on NBCSA. "Our team is so dope. All the other rappers jealous of me."

apparently the answer was game one of the playoffs

Andre Iguodala was signed last summer for what he could bring in the playoffs. Now, a neck injury is going to keep him out for at least the next week. And when he has been available, Iguodala hasn't totally looked like himself. Tough set of circumstances for the 38-year-old.

jammin on the dud (Spottie), Wednesday, 27 April 2022 18:50 (four years ago)

I figured he was signed more as a fan service/player-coach type deal. At least we don't have to see him trying to guard Boogie anymore.

Chyiv Kyiv (Fetchboy), Thursday, 28 April 2022 00:54 (four years ago)

dude is a master cutter and really smooth around the rim

Crazy stat from @Stathead: No player 6’4” or shorter has EVER shot at least 65% on at least 200 2-point attempts in a single season. @Garydwayne shot 75% on 2s this year! 🤯

How did he do it? By leading the NBA in points off cuts among all players shorter than 6'7" pic.twitter.com/77KZShokW9

That Curry defensive play on the morant drive got me hyped

jammin on the dud (Spottie), Monday, 2 May 2022 00:47 (four years ago)

Yeah, that was sweet especially with all the times Urey gets targeted on defense. I think Klay’s length bothered Ja’s last shot. But that was low key not a great game from Klay. He was 6 of 19 shooting and didn’t seem to be quick enough on defense (other than the final play).

that's not my post, Monday, 2 May 2022 01:58 (four years ago)

Urey = Curry lol

that's not my post, Monday, 2 May 2022 01:58 (four years ago)

Klay was just ok. Hit the biggest shot of the game tho and had that sweet steal and fast break. Defense on the final play was crucial too for sure. That’s championship hoops tho, win on the road when you don’t play well and are missing your defensive mvp.

I'm curious to see if the warriors small lineups can keep Adams off the floor when he returns from protocols. The warriors don't have anyone to match his size on the boards.

Chyiv Kyiv (Fetchboy), Monday, 2 May 2022 15:14 (four years ago)

I don’t see him playing much. He gets torched by the small ball units.

jammin on the dud (Spottie), Monday, 2 May 2022 15:16 (four years ago)

I think Klay’s length bothered Ja’s last shot.

that shot had a very slim chance, klay played it perfect. still cant believe they pulled that game off.

Really thriving in his ideal role of 4th option. His rebounding and on-ball defense have been great and his vicious dunks on Brandon Clarke have been a highlight of the series. Seems like he doesn't like that dude.
