i’m a bit skeptical of the raptors as a huge threat to win a round but the sixers are such a weird match up for them, they would have such a major coaching advantage in that series, and they have the right kind of team to get a 3-15 out of harden when they need it, that i could see them junking their way into an upset. but i.e. boston would be happy to play toronto’s style with better players

not sure exactly what scottie barnes offensive game consists of but he def has touch

if he can develop his skills he could be very good will prob be good anyway tbh

i worry about his joints. hes too big for how he moves

i've watched a few raptors broadcasts recently and they have one of those announcers that just spends the whole game yelling. like the hornets guy. my least favorite.

even if all barnes did was hit threes at a decent rate he'd be one of the better role players in the league. but it looks like he'll be capable of a lot more than that

for pretty much the entire second half of this game the raptors have been happy to double embiid and make him pass it to anyone else on the floor

Wolves have doubled their win total from last season. Obviously there's zero chance but I think Chris Finch has done as good a job of coaching as anyone in the league.

suns have already clinched first by 8 games and they still beat the jazz in a game they need, amazing

at this point if you’re dallas or golden state do you feel like utah or denver is the weaker opponent? my head still says denver but the jazz feel like they’re itching for a 4-1 elimination and then never talking to each other again

getting there. two years ago he averaged 34 ppg, kinda hard to sustain that. obv going to teams where he wasnt the #1 guy was gonna impact his production, but his shooting efficiency has taken a noticeable turn:

career: .442/.362, TS .610
this year: .410/.333, TS .583

he's past his peak, but not his expiration date

that seems accurate. should be good enough to be the running mate of embiid. SHOULD be.

seems inevitable that hes going to have some games in the playoffs that make sixers fans very mad

its not like he has an extensive history of underperforming in the postseason or philly of excoriating athletes who dont live up to expectations, he should be fine
