every time i watch the mavs i’m stunned anew by how good the porzingis trade has gone for them

zinger was so bad and such a bad fit the addition by subtraction part was kinda a no brainer but yeah dinwiddie going from borderline unplayable on the wiz to actually good on the mavs is nice for them

zinger was having a good season statistically! I didn’t watch a ton of mavs games but when I did it just seemed like he didn’t fit what they were trying to do

gets to the line a fair bit and making his FTs, doesn’t turn the ball over, I have been a documented zinger skeptic but I think he still has the juice to contribute to the right team

the problem with zinger isn’t necessarily what he does on the floor it’s that you can’t rely on him to play like a month of games straight

idk being a non shooter and a non defender is pretty bad

yeah. i mean, not sure what he’s contributing to a winning team really. being on the wizards feels right for him

the blazers made their switch to tank mode so decisively and effectively in the week before the ASB that over the past 17 games they only have two wins, despite playing houston twice, the wolves twice, the pelicans, the pistons, the thunder, the spurs three times during that run. mission accomplished!!

doc rivers does not strike me as a daryl morey kind of coach, and daryl was not there when they hired him in philly. if doc ends up being out there i’m not sure doc would be the one having made the decision

Doc seems a little old school for Morey. I don't have anything against Doc, but I won't be that sorry to see him go either, depending on who they bring in.
